With her first solo album in six years and her debut on eDGe Music, Badi Assad is back and making it clear that she is one of the most exciting Brazilian guitarists and singers/songwriters of this generation. On her new album Verde, Badi returns home to Brazil, fusing her cosmopolitan experience with her spiritual and musical roots. Her innovative interpretations of Brazilian songs, individual readings of works by artists as diverse as Björk and U2, plus her original compositions reflect Badi's vibrant and sensuous journey through life.
