"Sometimes Mighty Tranquilized" is the full length follow-up to May 1999's "Floating the Glass Bottom Boat" EP. "Floating" was described as stylistically rooted in a nicely self-defined blend of older rock 'n' roll and modern twang", and "Sometimes Mighty Tranquilized" continues in this direction.
