Westbound Train, fresh out of Boston, have been bringing their sweet dance music to the masses since 2001 and have already left an indelible mark on the scene through incessant touring and several recordings. Their 2005 release, Five to Two, has been described as soulful, flowing and well-rooted, with melodic and yearning lyrics combined with a beat to which you can't help but move. Originally released independently by Westbound Train, Five to Two was picked up by Stomp Records after their phenomenal live set on the national Ska is Dead tour. Features 11 tracks of ultra-soulful roots ska music with special guest appearances from Alex Desert, of the now legendary Hepcat, and Hellcat recording artists King Django (of Stubborn Allstars fame).
