Review

Truly the groups' breakout album, TUNEWEAVING featured 1973's biggest selling single of the year, "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree" - which was also Tony Orlando & Dawn's second # 1 song. This release quickly became their first gold album. In addition to the classic "Tie A Yellow Ribbon," TUNEWEAVING also includes a terrific version of "Runaway/Happy Together." Dawn vocalist Joyce Vincent takes the lead on the sexy "Easy Evil" and Telma Hopkins is in the spotlight on "I Don't Know You Anymore." The complete original LP is here, plus 6 bonus tracks - including the single release of "Vaya Con Dios" and the rare b-side "The Spark of Love is Kindlin'."
