Review

2000 release by this most original Brazilian singer/songwriter. This brilliant artist covers many genres of Brazilian music such as Choro, Maracapoeira, Xote, Baiao, Samba-rap, while adding his own clever lyrics and interesting musical combinations to the mix. He was brought to the attention of U.S. mainstream audiences by David Byrne of Talking Heads fame, who is one of his biggest fans and had him record for his Luaka Bop label. This is his first Brazilian label release in many years!
