Review
Through the early '90s, as bands like Nine Inch Nails and KMFDM became more and more popular, and growing legions of groups started adding electronics to their metallic assault, too many were obsessed with hooking into the sounds of the present to consider the possibilities of the future. One such group is Testify, whose album Mmmyaooo is filled with punchy, sample-laden songs in the vein of Ministry and Skrew (who produced the album). --Jon Wiederhorn
