TALE CUE, an Italian Progressive rock band, performs a kind of music that is brilliant in many aspects ! "Voices Beyond My Curtain" (1991) alternates energetic moments with a David GILMOUR-like guitar, and ambiental sequences created by synthesizers. Singer Laura BASLA also drastically and elegantly changes from an extreme to the other. Here is then a powerful and light music, both tense and airy, that blends opposites with a lot of talent. TALE CUE can be compared to RENAISSANCE for the melodic beauty, and PINK FLOYD or GENESIS for instrumental wealth. Not to be missed !
