Using haunting arcane soprano vocals mixed with electronic orchestration, piano, and live instruments, a mystical moonlit journey arises in this pictorial music CD entitled "Lake of Sky" debuted by composer and performer Suzanna Reeves. Suzanna's music harkens to the tune of Celtic, Medieval, and New Age with such influences such as Enya, Loreena McKennitt, and Paul Schwartz. Drawing upon her artistic life experiences, "Lake of Sky" is inspired in part by poetry, high-fantasy novels (Tolkein, Cunningham, Bickmore, Rowling), and a fascination of the mystical forest legends of the faerie, elves, and the Hidden. Spiritually charged, this poignant otherworldly ambient music is soothing to the recesses of the soul and imagination.
