Review
Tremoluxe has the fat, dirty guitar tone and the loud snare drums of the blues-rock genre, but Studebaker John Grimaldi is not just another Stevie Ray Vaughan wanna-be. Instead Grimaldi more closely resembles the Fabulous Thunderbirds' Jimmie Vaughan in his utter devotion to the groove. And it's that devotion that allows "Tremoluxe" to rise above the humdrum state of blues-rock today and demand attention with its hypnotic boogie rhythms. --Geoffrey Himes
