Review

Socratic released their full-length debut, Lunch For The Sky on Drive-Thru Records September 6, 2005. Hailing from New Jersey, SOCRATIC makes music that differs greatly from others in the current music scene. The songs on Lunch For The Sky are like mini rock operas. Incorporating the best elements of pop and classic rock sensibilities, each song dramatically unfolds through vivid lyrics and grand arrangements. Lunch For The Sky was produced by John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Blood Brothers, Hot Hot Heat) and recorded at Long View Farms Recording Studio.
