The Shooting Star Story Began One Winter Day in 1960 When 5-year-old Ron Verlin Moved Into 5-year-old Van Mclain's Neighborhood in Suburban Kansas City. They Lived One Block Apart from Each Other and Became Good Friends. After Watching 1964 Beatles Appearance at Ed Sullivan's Show, Ron and Van Started Taking Music Lessons and Formed their First Band with their Brothers. Thus the Shooting Stars were Born. This Release Marks a New Era for the Band as Kevin Chalfant (The Storm, Two Fires) Joins Shooting Star as the New Front Man and the Band Continues to Rock Into the Next Decade of the New Millennium
