Timms is best known for her involvement with the Mekons and has released several solo CDs over the years. The songs on this record were written by Ryan Adams, Mark Eitzel, Kevin Coyne, Johnny Dowd, Mekons, Jon Langford, and Sean Garrison. They cover war, marriage, abandonment, and the inability to articulate, and they range from the apologetic to the analytical.
