Mexican-American pop star Ritchie Valens was only beginning to realize his potential when a plane crash took his life in early 1959. The youngster (He was only 17) recorded very little material, but what he did brought joy to millions. This 1995 compilation features 22 of his best tracks, including 'La Bamba', 'Donna', 'Come On, Let's Go' & many more. Also includes a biographical essay by Barry Lazell.
