Review
It's easy to understand why this is one of the most intense, heartfelt albums that Reba McEntire has ever recorded. It came on the heels of a plane crash that killed her road manager and six band members. Though McEntire channels her sense of loss into these songs, her restraint is what makes these performances so memorable. Her voice is powerful and taut with emotion as she grapples with the tangled despair of the title tune and "Is There Life out There"--both back-to-back No. 1 singles. Other highlights include McIntire's fabulous rendition of the 1973 Vicki Lawrence hit, "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia." --Bob Allen
