Review

The welcome return of Organic Audio on a brand new label. Organic Audio have been busy Beavers for the last twelve months - feverishly working on a stunning brand new long player Lovelight and this is the outcome!

Lovelight takes off in a more developed and fuller sound than previous albums. With producer Andy Spence at the controls, the sound is distinctively what people have come to expect from Organic Audio, warm, funky and lush. This album also signals a new vocal direction with the welcome addition of four great vocal talents - Chris Davies, Karime Kendra (Red Snapper), and Crazy Girl.

Once again Organic Audio have come up with an essential album, a grown up clubbers haven where chilled out moments sit snugly alongside the more clubby elements while still leaving space for deep lush grooves.

Organic Audio have a distinguished history of classic releases. Back To My Roots, OA's first LP for Tummy Touch was released in November 1998 to critical acclaim and DJ support.

Back to My Roots was a defining moment in club music, pre-empting the Latin inspired sounds of that time by at least 18 months. The likes of Carl Cox, Jon Carter and Richard Dorfmeister became instant converts.
