Digitally remastered two CD edition of this 1997 album features a bonus disc that includes eight tracks of rare remixes and non-album tracks This album marks Masters At Work duo Louie Vega and Kenny Dope Gonzales at their finest; combining Latin, Jazz and Salsa flavors with their distinctly New York sounding, slickly-produced, funky house beats. On this album, every track is a high-point. The Jocelyn Brown-sung 'I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun' is a timeless hit but elsewhere contributions from Roy Ayers, George Benson, India and Jazzy Jeff make this mammoth long-player one of house music's most accomplished and enduring classics.
