Review

Four brand-new songs and one cover ("This Place Sucks" by The Queers) is the latest blast of trashy Columbus, Ohio, punk from the prolific New Bomb Turks. They still have that shoddy production that makes the drums sound like cardboard, the guitars scrape like a rusty car door, and the vocals distort with no effects on them. Sounds just like all the cool punk rock records that came out in the early '80s crossed with a dose of The Stooges' messy disease. At times, the four new tunes sound similar to songs on Destroy Oh Boy!, including a familiar progression here and there. You're probably not ever going to hear more than four or five chords from this band anyway, though, so what's the difference. --Adem Tepedelen
