On his first solo album since 1995, former Tibetan monk and Grammy® nominee Nawang Khechog takes listeners on a musical pilgrimage into the experience of compassion through the vehicle of music. Nine original compositions meld the ancient ritual sounds of Nawang's homeland with traditions from across the globe — to invoke the uplifting power of Universal Love. With Tibetan flute, long horn, and overtone chanting; universal horn; didgeridoo; African drums and kalimba; ocarinas; Native American drum; and chants of universal love by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
