Review

Shade' was recorded in the south of France with a mobile studio in a large secluded villa. The venue was not as it turned out the ultimate recording luxury. The World Cup was in full swing and televised, with wives and girlfriends getting bored and restless. The heat was stiffling being particularly oppressive at night and the musicians had to spend all the time in the shade so that they could actually get anything done, hence the name of the album. Included in the line up was Geoffrey Richardson from Caravan who along with some very talented musicians created a great sound.

The album has been lovingly mastered with carefully chosen artwork and Murray has written the sleeve notes. Included in the line up is Geoffrey Richardson from Caravan .
