Review

Milladoiro is one of the most important European ensembles devoted to Celtic music. Since forming in Galicia in 1979, the band's prestige has never stopped growing, and they have become an unavoidable presence in the contemporary traditional music pantheon. They regularly collaborate with The Chieftains and Kathy Mattea.

"O Niño do Sol" offers much more than a Celtic music lover may expect. Milladoiro takes Galician traditional music as starting point, then creates a unique, captivating sound in which classical music plays an important role.
