Review

Master H (aka Hassen Gouaned) is the latest French export to be snapped up by Glasgow, Scotland's Soma Records, a debonair, designer DJ who has been setting alight the hottest and most fashionable clubs of Paris, New York and Glasgow in recent years with his flamboyant funky house style. The legacy of Daft Punk has led to Soma (Daft Punk released their first two EP's on Soma) cementing a longstanding relationship with France and its artists. The DJ of choice to a chic clique of party professionals, Master H has been seen behind the decks spinning at fashion soiree's from the likes of Paul Smith and Versace in Paris and New York, and found himself rubbing shoulders with a celebrity A-list of supermodels and superstars as long as the catwalk, never once compromising his musical integrity. Now set to drop his debut album entitled Thirteen, featuring collaborations with Scottish housemaster DJQ ("HQ") and Soma brothers Silicone Soul (the title track "Thirteen"), as well as last Summer's electrifying underground house anthem "Magic K". Master H is set to explode on a global scale.
