Rich, expansive, and haunting, Secrets of Life is a closely woven tapestry of ethnic instruments, voices, and multi-cultural influences that balance and enlighten each other in unexpected and captivating ways. Persian harmonies predominate this recording, which celebrates the symbiotic relationship between the soul's heart and the rhythm of the earth, expressed as energy moving through the body. This CD has a very exotic sound transporting the listener to some far away tropical island of paradise.
