Review

Following only nine months after Ian's 1975 masterpiece, 'Between the Lines', 'Aftertones' (1975) was something of a coda to that album, again tastefully produced by Brooks Arthur & featuring songs in the same mood. Although none came up to the standard of 'At Seventeen', 'I Would Like to Dance' presents much the same delicacy of expression.Janis Ian Burst Onto the Musical Landscape as a Fifteen Year Old in 1967 with her Eponymous Debut and She Quickling Became the Darling of Legions of Contemporary Folk Fanatics. This is her 1975 Release, which Includes 'Love is Blind', 'Hymn', 'Boy, I Really Tied One On', 'i Would Like to Dance' and Seven More.
