Review

Mixed by Jamaicas legendary dub-pioneer Scientist, Send the Rain is Jah Works roots album. Having taken a solid year and a half to release (legal difficulties), its also Jah Works labor of love. That being said, the process did bear many fruits and Send the Rain became an album that established the band as a regional force. Positive, conscious lyrics dominate an album inspired by lean times and current events like the Million Man March. Nearly every track became a requested favorite in the years that followed.
