In the year 2000 Wounded Bird issued their first batch of Herbie Mann CD Re-issues. One of those was Standing Ovation At Newport, one of our most popular Herbie Mann CDs. We now finish the Newport trilogy with Live At Newport & New Mann At Newport. Live At Newport was recorded in 1963 at the Newport Jazz Festival. Featured musicians include Dave Pike (vibes), Ben Tucker (bass) and Atilla Zoller (guitar). 5 tracks. 2001 reissue.
