Hasil Adkins was a wild man, a rockabilly psycho who recorded his bursts of emotion and lunacy in his West Virginia shack (where he was found dead in April 2005). These two collections on CD or vinyl round up 40 of those raw, rockin' wonders, the 1958-63 cuts that made him a cult hero and sent him out on tour to meet and scare his new fans.
