Review

2006 debut album from London based Avant-Popsters led by Fyfe Dangerfield, one of the most original and exciting bands to emerge from the UK in years. Imagine a mixture of Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, R.E.M., Jeff Buckley and Brian Wilson's stranger moments, then turn it upside down and add some of the most haunting melodies this side of Bjork! 12 songs including the singles 'Made Up Love Song #43' and 'Trains To Brazil'. Universal. After Four Great EP Singles and a Debut Mini Album, the Quirky Quartet from Birmingham Delivered their Debut Full Length Album in July 2006. One of the Most Anticipated Albums of the Year, They Successfully Laid the Groundwork for a Smashing Debut and Certainly Will Satiate their Enthusiastic Fans. Pronounced "Gilly Mottz" (Lest You Think the Name was French).
