Review
On In with the Out Crowd, you'll find a colorful variety of musical styles; styles that guitarist Grant Geissman touches on with rather more flair and accuracy than most musicians in the genre. There's the jazz-rock mix of "Did I Save?," the low- key, long-car-trip-across-open-country (possibly Kansas) sensibility of "Highway 60s Revisited," the folky flavor of "Dharma," and "Secret Garden," evocative of a long, lazy sunny day. The CD ends on a high note, with the folk-rock-ish "Life ... and Stuff." Overall, it points to Geissman's talent as a guitarist and composer that he can incorporate such variety so successfully, and that his music, while light in feel, is still so evocative. -- Genevieve Williams
