Two CD digitally remastered and expanded edition of this Welsh band's 1995 album, originally released on Ankst Records. Features 33 tracks total including a bonus disc filled with b-sides, non-album singles, Radio 1 Sessions and more. Castle. 2006.Gorky's Zygotic Mynci were One of the Most Original and Distinctive Bands to Emerge from the Vital Post Brit-pop Welsh Scene of the Mid-'90s. A Bizarrely Sweet and Whimsical Fusion of Progressive Rock, Psychedelia and Indie Pop, Gorky's Music Followed Unconventional Structures and Featured Instrumentation Boasting Everything from Moog Synthesizers to Trombones and Steel Guitars. Furthermore, the Band's Lyrics were Rarely About Conventional Pop/Rock Subjects and They Frequently Sang in Welsh! Having Started the Band Barely Into their Teens They Released Three Albums on Welsh Independent Label Ankst Culminating with Bwyd Time Reaching Number One on the UK Independent Charts Before They Moved on to Mercury Records in 1996. It is These Three Classic Independent Albums that Are Now Re-released on Castle.
