FORLORN EMOTION is a French band playing thrash-metal, born in 1994 in Valenciennes (North of France). The musicians use powerful guitar riffs, on a musical background which is quite industrial-sounding. Much inspired by death-metal, the compositions are made of heavy and cold metal. Instrumental developments may be experimental, but they avoid cacophony. Numerous cithar parts are present for instance. The singing is melodic and mournful (Or forlorn, precisely !), nearly morbid and nightmarish. Published by the Thundering label, "The Sweet Decline" (1997) was produced by Bruno DONINI, an eminent member of LOUDBLAST and SUP. Don't miss it !
