Fear Of Eternity, one of the most enigmatic black metal entities around, quickly returns with Spirit of Sorrow. Aptly named, this second album was recorded in a flurry of mysterious activity, and accordingly balances the mesmerizing melancholy of classic Burzum with the frightime cinematics of Goblin. Draped in eerily soothing synths and bittersweet melody, this is the Spirit of Sorrow.
