this album features a unique acoustic production. the acoustic instruments are layered with electric guitars, didgeridoo, pan pipes, native flutes, banjo, bass, drums and percussion. aside from seven drum tracks provided by billy braatz, don plays everything on this album. backing vocals are provided by ellis paul' distinctive tenor. don and ellis are known for thier chemictry and vocal blend. the standout song on this album is "the other side" which recieved airplay nationwide on public radio and especially on wfuv in new york city following the september 11 attacks in 2001.
