Review

Dishwalla's music speaks to people at a very personal level. The band consistently demonstrates a unique ability to write music that elevates the personal to the universal. The Santa Barbara-based band made quite the splash a few years back with Pet Your Friends, a provocative mix of pop savvy and soulful rock grind. Fueled by the smash hit single "Counting Blue Cars," the album blazed onto the pop charts and blanketed rock radio, with the video garnering heavy play on MTV and VH1.

Between the fall of 2001 and the Summer of 2003 Dishwalla went on tour to promote their 2002 release Opaline. Produced by Gregg Wattenberg (Five For Fighting) and recorded in Los Angeles, the album proved relentless on the radio airwaves with the Top 20 hit, "Somewhere in the Middle." Touring Consistently for two Years, the band performed 258 shows in 470 days covering both ground and air. The performances were recorded live and these moments capture the band in what athletes call "the flow state." Dishwala was in the zone, redefining their boundaries and performing better than ever. Traveling with Navy Morale Welfare Recreation tour in Europe and North Africa on board the USS Nimtz only fueled the intensity of their performance. This live album is the result of a rock band doing what they love.Full Title - Live...Greetings From The Flow State. 2003 live album for the hard rockers from Santa Barbara recorded on their relentless touring between 2001 and 2003.
