A companion piece to his previous (sold out-of-print) release 'Rhino,' this CD is a good starter set for those unfamiliar with baritone saxophonist/flautist/scat vocalist/composer/arranger Denis DiBlasio, as it includes four distinct originals, six standards and a virtuosic solo flute showcase, featuring Denis in duo, trio, quartet, quintet and sextet settings.
