Review

"Unbelievable Unknown" is the long-awaited release form San Diego's most-covered local songwriter, Dave Howard. The record is built on the foundation of Howard's acoustic guitar and voice, but is most definitely at home in the adult-alternative rock neighborhood where these cuts truly live. From the opener, "The Nothing Song", to the hypnotic title cut, "Unbelievable Unknown" takes you on a musical and lyrical journey that is peppered with subtle tastes of flute, cello, accordion, and searing electric guitars.

Supported by an all-star cast from San Diego's burgeoning music scene including A.J. Croce, Wayne Nelson (Little River Band), John Katchur, Jeff Berkley, Calman Hart, Dani Carroll, Sven-Erik Seaholm and others, this album will satisfy the most discriminating listener. A great singer-songwriter album from San Diego's premiere performing songwriter.
