Review

A “patriot” is defined as one who loves his or her country and supports its authority and interests. This word could define most Americans. One American it certainly does define is Dave Dudley.

A “trucker” is defined as one whose business is transporting goods by truck . Not only has Dave been patriotic to America over the years, he also loves and supports the lifeblood industry of these United States — the trucking industry.

The overwhelming success of Dave's “Six Days on the Road” in 1963 barrel-rolled him and his beloved trucking industry into the spotlight where they shined together, henceforth inseparable.

American Trucker is the first all-truck project he has recorded since 1965.

The events of September 11, 2001 stirred the heart of every American. Dave Dudley, an American Trucker, seeks to capture the heart of those patriots that drive the big rigs, the delivery trucks — those that make the long hauls and the short hauls. Collectively those truckers are telling terrorists everywhere “You Ain't Gonna Truck With Us.”
