1957's String Fever offered a rare oppurtunity for legendaryguiter sideman Chuck Wayne to call the shots. With its sumptous guitar and rich orchestral arrangements-not to mention 5 unissued alternate takes and the first-ever use of the stereo master tapes. This reissue is an important step in reaffirming Wayne's place in jazz history. 16 tracks. Standard jewel case. 2001 release.
