Originally produced for The Muir Woods National Monument, Redwood Melodies is an elegant and soulful collection of instrumental ballads and blues for dobro, slide and classical guitars. Produced by renowned composer/guitarist Carl Weingarten, Redwood Melodies has it's roots in American folk, with an eastern or latin flavor, especially the ensemble cuts featuring pedal steel ace Robert Powell and percussionist Joe Venegoni. Frequently heard on National Public Radio's All Things Considered, and the syndicated Echoes programs, Redwood Melodies is the perfect companion for a lazy weekend or romantic evening.
