Review

Oh my gosh - the Jaxx are back. Fresh from wowing festival audiences from Glastonbury to Rio with their technocolour punk carnival of a live show, Basement Jaxx have barely paused for breath before unleashing the quirky charms of new single 'Oh My Gosh', a brisk urban disco symphony that sounds like Jam & Lewis' shiny 80s soul reimagined for the Channel U generation. Its also a curtain raiser for Basement Jaxx - The Singles, spanning everything from the proto punk garage of early hit Flylife to the Motown monster that is Good Luck, taking in worldwide smashes like Red Alert, Where's Your Head At, Rendez Vu and Romeo. Where most 'greatest hits' albums fall down at least once there can be no argument that this collection delivers the bangers and nothing but. Four tracks, 1. Oh My Gosh (Jaxx Club Edit) 2. Oh My Gosh (Kneedeep Club Edit) 3. Oh My Gosh (Bugz in the Attic Remix)4. Oh My Dub. XL. 2005.
