Thought to be long, long gone…dead, or just plain forgotten, Seattle industrial legends And Christ Wept are back. Well, sort of…
Due to much begging and pleading from fans & friends, these metal ridden monsters that terrorized the Northwest throughout the early 90's have finally released the album that should have seen the light of day back in 1996.
Re-construction, scrounging, salvaging, scavenging, new mastering and mixing was all very necessary to breath new life into the musical corpse ACW had become.
Fresh, new, knock-you-on-yer-ass remixes are provided by ebm/noise terrorist Manufactura and Fockewolf (co-founder of ACW, R.Wilhelm). Plus, an original remix from '96 remains. Noxious Emotion's interpretation of "Productivity" ("Product 01") sounds just as bombastic as it did 6 years ago.
Throw in the awesome mastering by Carsten Pederson (the wizard behind Tau Factor) plus the excellent cover design by Art|Ma and ADSR has a package it is proud to present!
"Unholy Rebirth Through Technology" will appeal to those into chunky metal combined with evil electronics. This album is a bootstomper's delight and there is enough angst included to go around for everyone.
