Secrets, the debut CD from Allison Crowe, singer-songwriter, is "soulful, poignant, and always intense". Describing further the album's "piano-based rock" sound, indie music columnist Jennifer Patton (in Delusions of Adequacy 'zine) says: "Allison plays with styles and infuses bits of blues, folk, jazz, and more into each song, all beautifully packaged around piano and limited use of guitar and other instruments."
