Review
Hypermodern Jazz 2000.5 returns home from its former label Mille Plateaux! This is a fine example of part of a collection of Alec Empire's electronic work from the late `90s. Like his peers Aphex Twin, Empire has constantly provoked his machinery into performing unexpected but affecting acrobatics for the ears.
